Let Your Child Go WILD This Summer

This summer, children ages 6-11, can explore nature and have fun doing it!

Camp WILD Things is a “hands-on” camp program designed for kids who love the outdoors and all of the creeping, crawling and flying things living there.  Campers will gain a better understanding of the wonders of the natural world and their own role in taking care of our environment through games, crafts, stories and encounters with live wildlife ambassadors.  Campers learn the "why”, "how" and "what" behind different animal characteristics, and leave camp a better steward of the world that we share with them.  Wildlife educators serve as nature guides and each camp is limited to 12 campers, making the most of your child’s learning experience!

Camps Available in Summer 2009.

Wildlife Adventurer - Campers are introduced to different types of wildlife living in our own backyards, from animals that fly to those that hop and even the ones that slither.  What makes each of these animals different?  What makes them similar? Nature Explorer*NEW* Campers are guided through the hidden world of wildlife to unearth its mysteries.  Nature Explorers will decipher the unusual behaviors of wild animals, learn their adaptations for survival, and investigate deeper into their sources of food and places to live.  Campers will sharpen their skills of discovery and unlock the secrets for uncovering wildlife in the wild.
