Animal Lovers Get a Taste of the Low Country at This Year’s 2nd Annual Black Tie & Tails Gala
The roof garden and 17th floor of Meridian in downtown Columbia will be jumping, swinging and burning some slow blues on the evening of Saturday, May 22nd as Carolina Wildlife Care kicks off its 2nd annual Black Tie and Tails gala.
This wonderful celebration will feature the high energy sounds of Elliot and the Untouchables, described by the Charlotte Observer as a band with “old school sounds with an emphasis on foot-tapping, rump-shaking jump blues,” and the festive steel drum melodies of J’Ouvert guaranteed to lift your spirits upon entering the doors.
As diverse and powerful as the music itself will be the food, provided by Troncos Catering, which will feature a mouth watering low country menu to include Low Country Shrimp and Grits, Sauteed Crabcakes, Cajun Porkloin, and Oysters, just to name a few of the delectable's sure to tempt your taste buds. And back by popular demand is the purple martini bar along with a wide selection of other cocktails on hand.
